PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Autonomy and individual responsibility to support a number of functional business units across a variety of areas in the company
· Draft, review and negotiate agreements
· Support ongoing and new regulatory compliance programs and initiatives
· Support of the Company’s recently announced Ohio natural gas utility acquisition
· Manage use of outside counsel, as necessary
· Provide general support as requested by General Counsel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Juris Doctor Degree
· License to practice or ability to waive into practice in Pennsylvania (or preparing to sit for bar exam)
· Strong analytical, writing, and negotiation skills
· Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a variety of business units and stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
· License to practice or ability and willingness to waive into practice in Ohio (or preparing to sit for bar exam)
· Law review, law journals, judicial internships, moot court and other extracurricular activities
