Adolescent Addiction Counselor - Drug & Alcohol Program

Summary of Duties:
Family Service & Children’s Aid Society’s Drug & Alcohol Program is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Outpatient Counselor.
This position will provide drug and alcohol outpatient treatment for adolescents residing at Pathway’s Adolescent Center. The work schedule is 7.5 hours a day Monday through Friday, no weekend or evening hours required.
This position is located on the first floor of the FSCAS suite at 358 N. Seneca Street, Oil City, PA 16301.
This position reports directly to the Drug & Alcohol Program Director of Family Service & Children’s Aid Society with formal supervision available on a regular basis and informal supervision available ongoing. This position also reports indirectly to the Chief Executive Officer of Family Service & Children’s Aid Society.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field with one year experience (clinical preferred) in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug & alcohol setting.
· Certified Addictions Counselor, a plus, but not necessary.
· Computer, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Acts 34-73-151 clearances; valid PA driver’s license; and reliable transportation.

$17.00-$18.00 hour, Non-exempt
