    General Purpose: Assist the Activity Director in providing an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing of each patient. Conducts activity programs as planned to meet the functional levels, need, and interests of each resident as assigned by department director. Assist and work with individual volunteers and volunteer programs at the request of the department director. Completes appropriate records indicating residents’ attendance and participation in individual and group activities in an accurate and timely manner. Assists with escorting residents to and from activities. Attend in-service education, and other meeting as directed by the Director or Administration.
    Activity Aide responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime and evening or weekend hours to meet facility’s needs. Be organized and detailed, efficient, and accurate in work performance. Possess and display proper communication skills which exude patience, self-discipline, and customer service skills. Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
    Pay:
    From $14.00 per hour
