Business Support Specialist

National Fuel is seeking a Business Support Analyst for an outstanding career opportunity in our Consumer Business department. 
This position may be based in Williamsville, NY or Erie, PA, and will support both New York and Pennsylvania operations. National

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the business functions of the Consumer Business department by coordinating requirements, design, user 
acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
• Work with multiple computer systems and applications that are utilized in the department to understand data within each 
system and how it relates to business processes.
• Collaborate with managers and subject matter experts to document and submit system change requests.
• Develop and deliver communication/training materials related to system updates and defect resolutions.
• Develop training material and train both supervisory and hourly department employees. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or related analytics field.
• Capability to learn current and future software utilized by the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with SAP, PeopleSoft, and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments to accomplish goals and objectives in a timely 
manner.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience in data analytics and knowledge/experience with analytical tools and applications.
• Functional knowledge of various computer systems such as PeopleSoft, Jira, SAP, and Microsoft Office (specifically 
Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with Agile work processes.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team to meet performance goals.
