Auto Mechanic

The City of Oil City is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of City Auto Mechanic. The Candidate works on the maintenance and repair of all City-owned equipment, both heavy and light. The work includes but is not limited to the maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, tractors, graders, front-end loaders, backhoes, air compressors, fire engines, sewer machines, etc. Employees in this position work under general supervision and are expected to exercise independent judgement as to the method of repair after receiving oral instructions or written work orders as to the nature of the work required.
