  • Coria Jacobs Gallery Internship

    Coria Jacobs Gallery is looking for an Intern with a background in Art/Design to assist with daily gallery operations. Interns will receive a 1099 contract, a gas stipend for travel, as well as 3% commission on leads or 5% commission on sales.
     
    Intern hours & dates are flexible based on your schedule, but it is expected that interns will be available a minimum of 12 hours a week during business hours. (The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11am to 6pm). Internship can begin as early as Tuesday August 1st and can last through December. Intern MUST be available on Friday September 22nd for the CJG fall show evening event as well as October 6-8th for Franklin's Applefest

    Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
    Assist with maintaining and curating the gallery, processing high end art sales, participating in consultations with clients and designers, handling artworks for display/sale/storage, assisting with events and marketing, photography and photo editing, poster designs and email campaigns, assisting with research, providing administrative support, running art show booth or gallery

    Benefits of working with the Coria Jacobs Gallery:
    Interns that are current artists can receive critiques from professional artists, assistance with building their personal art studio presence/practice, and the opportunity to have their work reviewed for a guest spot in the gallery. Letters of recommendation may be provided for students at the end of the internship.

    Minimum Requirements:
    High School Diploma, general understanding of art principles, writing proficiency, detail oriented, able to multitask. 
    Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience is recommended.
