Solar Energy for Historic Homes
Franklin Preservation will be hosting a program entitled Solar Energy for Historic Homes on Saturday, March 5, 2022 upstairs at the Franklin Public Library from 1pm – 2pm. Conducted by Ann and Marty Rudegeair, owners of the Witherup House Bed & Breakfast, the program will outline their experiences with installing and using solar energy while living and working in a historic home.
Franklin Library does have an elevator and a handicapped ramp for ease of use. Seating is limited at this location so we ask that you pre-register for the presentation by emailing us at franklin.preservation@gmail.com before the event.
Pre-packaged refreshments will be served. We will offer membership information and Franklin Preservation’s Schedule of events for 2022. The program is free to the public. Donations are accepted. Proceeds will go toward the restoration of the former Old Lutheran Church and the upkeep of the Venango County Civil War Monument.Solar Energy for Historic HomesDate and Time
