Veterans and their families may attend an open house at the Venango Veterans Affairs clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Veterans and their families can meet with clinic staff, tour the facility and connect to a variety of resources on-site. Health care experts will provide tours of the clinic and help connect veterans to VA services. The Venango VA clinic serves more than 1,600 veterans and provides primary care, behavioral health care, lab services, medication management, diabetes management, dietitian services, health education, care planning, nursing services, telephone care, telehealth services and more.
Veterans who have never enrolled in VA health care may take their DD-214 discharge papers to speak with an eligibility representative.
Women who served in the U.S. military can learn about a wide range of gender-specific health care that is available to them by talking with a woman veterans program manager.
Light refreshments will be provided.
