The Public Workshop for the Oil Region National Heritage Area Strategic Plan scheduled for Tuesday, October 27 at 9 a.m. in Oil City will now be held as a virtual event via Zoom at that time.
Participants will work in virtual breakout groups on the topics of organization and management of the Oil Region National Heritage Area, interpretation and preservation within the region, and tourism development.
Please contact Jenn Burden, Oil Region Alliance Heritage Program Manager at jburden@oilregion.org to register for the workshop and note with which breakout group topic you would like to work. Participants will be e-mailed a link to the Zoom meeting prior to Tuesday.
The consultant team of The Walker Collaborative will present a Concept Plan Thursday, October 29 at 5 p.m. via Zoom that synthesizes the findings of the public workshop and previous public survey. All are welcome to e-mail Burden to request a link to attend.
