The 2022 Music in Oil Country marching band festival will feature 11 high school bands and one college band spanning seven counties. The festival will showcase the hours of practice the students have put into each of their shows. High school bands scheduled to perform include the Oil City Oiler Marching Band, Franklin Black Knight Marching Band, Titusville Rocket Marching Band, Keystone Panther Marching Band, Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcon Marching Band, Lakeview Sailor Marching Band, Cambridge Springs Marching Blue Devils, Warren Dragon Marching Band, Conneaut Area Eagle Marching Band, Fort LeBoeuf Stampede of Sound and Brockway Rover Marching Band. This year’s show will also feature a special performance by the Grove City College Wolverine Marching Band. As in past years, the festival will again offer concessions, raffles, candy grams and air grams. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Oiler Marching Band’s uniform drive. The band will be purchasing new uniforms in the near future. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Oil City High School gymnasium.
