Franklin High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Established in 2011, the Franklin Area High School Hall of Fame honors individuals and teams whose achievements have brought honor and distinction to the heritage of the Franklin Area School District. Inductees are examples for all to emulate, and we honor and preserve their legacy. The hall's mission is to recognize those who have contributed significantly in the fields of academics, arts, sciences, humanity, community, athletics, vocations, technology, and business.
The 2025 class includes a Mary Ann Wiegel Richardson, Class of ‘51, well-known Franklin resident who helped establish the Barrow-Civic Theatre; Lantz Schwabenbauer, Class of ‘96, an All-American collegiate wrestler; Angela Montgomery, Class of ‘96, an accomplished alumna who has worked to better the lives of her patients, and Larry Turner, Class of ‘71, an outstanding athlete who went on to become a pillar of the Franklin community.
