SUMMARY:Virtual Student Employment Event
DESCRIPTION:VIRTUAL STUDENT EMPLOYMENT\n\nEVENT 2021\n\n \n\nThe goal of this event is to match local organizations and businesses who have the need to hire employees\, with local high school seniors preparing to enter the workforce from the 6 sending school districts of the Venango Technology Center. In addition to seniors we are considering opening the event to 11th grade VTC students who are looking for co-op opportunities for next school year\, if employers indicate they are looking for co-op students. \n\n \n\nThe date of the event is set for Tuesday\, May 11\, 2021\, with two blocks of time wherein we are asking employers to be "live" in the event: 9:30 -11:00 and 12:30   2:00. The reason for these windows is that our students attend VTC in two sessions and we want to have access for both our morning and afternoon students while they are here in our building. We are thankful to have Heather Friedline and Nickie Irwin from CareerLink taking the lead on setting up the employer portion of the event and managing the online platform. If you are interested in participating\, they will be reaching out to you with more information about getting registered and setting up your virtual booth.\n\n \n\nIf this sounds like something that would be beneficial to you\, we would love for you to be involved.
