SUMMARY:Spaghetti Dinner
DESCRIPTION:Edgewood Heights personal care community on Keck Avenue in New Bethlehem\, recently celebrated its 20 year anniversary. Festivities to honor the milestone will be held in conjunction with New Bethlehem's upcoming Peanut Butter Festival this weekend! Edgewood Heights will have a table set up during registration at the annual wine walk Friday night. Watch for the residents and staff at Edgewood Heights as thy cruise down Broad Street in their Cadillacs during the annual Peanut Butter Festival Parade and then join us for a spaghetti dinner at Edgewood Heights Sunday afternoon!\n\n\n\nAlthough there is a lot to celebrate\, WRC Senior Services also is thinking about one of our employee's families that is currently dealing with the financial burden and stress of dealing with a sick child. Jeana Roy\, Hospice RN Manager at WRC's In Home Solutions\, recently found out her 7-year old son was diagnosed with Leukemia. Brock Roy\, a 2nd grade student\, was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Brock's parents\, Jeana and Dustin\, are both graduates from Redbank Valley. \n\n\n\nAnother spaghetti dinner benefiting Brock will be held on Sunday in Falls Creek\, but WRC wanted to help out and provide local people with an opportunity to also show support from Brock and the Roy's. Proceeds from our spaghetti dinner will be split between the Roy family and Resident Life at Edgewood Heights. \n\n\n\nThe public is invited to join us for a delicious spaghetti dinner on Sunday\, September 17\, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Edgewood Heights\, 612 Keck Avenue\, New Bethlehem. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Take outs will be available. \n\n\n\nPlease join WRC in supporting the Brock Roy Family. Call 275-2790 for additional details
