DESCRIPTION:The Oil Region Library Association (ORLA) will be hosting the second Annual Oil Region Festival of the Book on Saturday\, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will be held in the Central Avenue Plaza in Oil City\, PA (right outside the Oil City Library!).\n\nThe Oil Region Festival of the Book will provide an opportunity for community outreach to local & regional published authors. Participating authors will be provided space at the festival to engage with our community and to share and sell their works.\n\nAlso featured at the festival will be local food vendors\, library card sign-ups\, children's activities\, music\, raffles\, a book sale & guest speakers (including local author Hannah Allman Kennedy & local writer Amanda Pica). Historical items from the Oil City Heritage Society will also be for sale during the festival.\n\nThe Oil Region Festival of the Book is free to attend & all ages are welcome!
