DESCRIPTION:The Oil Region Library Association (ORLA) will be hosting the first Oil Region Festival of the Book on Saturday\, August 21\, 2021 from 10am-2pm. The Festival will be held in the Central Avenue Plaza in Oil City\, PA (right outside the Oil City Library!).\n\nThe Oil Region Festival of the Book will provide an opportunity for community outreach to local published authors. Participating authors will be provided space at the festival to engage with our community and to share and sell their works.\n\nAlso featured at the Festival will be local food vendors\, library card sign-ups\, children's activities\, live music & guest speakers (including past and present Oil City Mayors & local authors Corey McCullough and Charlie Cotherman).
