DESCRIPTION:Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County is offering "Hope for the Holidays\," a day of healing to help grieving children during the holidays. This event will be held on Saturday November 3 2018 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Victory Heights UB Church\, 5978 US Rt. 322\, Franklin\, PA 16323.\n\n\n\nThanksgiving and Christmas are times of celebration\, but if you have experienced the death of a loved one\, the holidays may intensify the pain you are feeling. It is often difficult to rejoice and celebrate when you are grieving. Hope for the Holidays will provide a therapeutic\, fun setting where children can talk openly and share their feelings with others. Activities conclude with a holiday meal. Hope for the Holidays is for children ages 6-17.\n\nIf you\, as an adult\, are struggling with your grief journey\, please contact VNA of Venango County at (814) 432-6555 for further support.
