DESCRIPTION:Venango County is sponsoring a collection for both household hazardous waste and electronics from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 27 in the rear parking lot of the Cranberry Mall.\n\n\n\nThe collection is open to all Venango County residents and businesses. All attendees must pre-register with Environmental Coordination and Services prior to the day of the event. Pre-registration can be done at ECSR.net or by calling 866-815-0016.\n\nThe costs associated with proper disposal of materials are as follows:\n\n\n\n- 87 cents per pound for household hazardous waste (paints\, chemicals\, batteries\, fluorescent light bulbs\, etc.).\n\n- 45 cents per pound for TV's and monitors.\n\n- 52 cents per pound for small freon containing devices.\n\n- 25 cents per pound for all other electronics (laptops\, printers\, microwaves\, cellphones\, stereos\, etc.).\n\n*Attendees are instructed to follow state Department of Health protocols.
