DESCRIPTION:The first ever Country Rebels Downhill Derby will be held October 8 in Cooperstown. Registration will start at 5 p.m. and racing will get underway at 6 p.m. There will be two divisions\, competitions will be single elimination and trophies will be awarded to the top two racers in each division. Cars must be stripped of all motorized parts and have no assistance devices added. A limited number of cars may be available for races without their own vehicle. \n\n\n\nFor racers 15 and younger helmets must be worn during all races and the cost is $10. For those 16 and older the cost is $20. Spectators are just asked to give a donation. Proceeds will be given to the Jamie's Kids. \n\n\n\nThe day will also include a soup cookoff with voting determined through donations gathered. \n\n\n\nRacing will be done at 1187 Lake Road\, Cooperstown.
