SUMMARY:Community Back-To-School Planning Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Coming Together for a Stronger Back-to-School Season As the school year approaches\, many organizations across our community are already thinking about how to best support local families and we believe we can do even more when we work together. That's why the United Way of Venango and Titusville Region is bringing local agencies\, faith-based groups\, nonprofits\, and community organizations to the table for a Community Back-to-School Planning Meeting on May 5th. Every year\, groups throughout the Venango and Titusville regions step up in incredible ways\, hosting events that provide free backpacks\, shoes\, clothing\, haircuts\, school supplies\, and other essentials. These efforts make a real difference\, helping children walk into the classroom feeling prepared and confident. This meeting is all about building on that impact. By connecting with one another\, organizations can share ideas\, identify gaps in services\, and explore ways to collaborate. The goal is simple: make sure resources are reaching families in the most thoughtful\, effective way possible without duplication or unnecessary strain on already-limited resources. Whether your organization hosts a large-scale event or is just beginning to explore ways to get involved\, you're invited to join the conversation. Join us on Tuesday\, May 5th at 10:00 am at the Suhr Library Oil Region Venango Campus (1801 West 1st St.\, Oil City). If you can't make it in person a virtual option will be available\, so you can still be part of the discussion. To RSVP or request the virtual link\, contact Christy Logsdon at 814-676-6545 or christy@uwvenango.org. Together\, we can make sure every child in our community starts the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.
