This month we will be focusing on budgeting and handling money\, with 3 exciting workshops to choose from! You can attend one or all three! This series is open to teens between the ages of 12-18. Register now at oilregionlibraries.org/teens\n\n\n\nOn Monday\, July 17th from 1-2 pm\, join us for a discussion about financial literacy with Amber Hughes and Roz Greggs from Top Tier Federal Credit Union. This workshop will include a discussion about different types of debt\, loans\, checking accounts\, savings accounts\, and more!\n\n\n\nOur second workshop will take place on Wednesday\, July 19th from 1-2 pm. In this activity Daidre Green\, our Teen Services Coordinator\, plans to test the teens with a budget challenge! The participants will be broken into groups to see if they can successfully achieve a monthly budget with a predetermined budget amount. They will also be introduced to "needs" vs. "wants."\n\n\n\nLastly\, our final workshop will take place on Wednesday\, July 26th from 2-3 pm. We'd love for you to explore the Northwest Bank\, located at 1301 Liberty St. with us! Please arrive at the library at 1:45 pm\, and we will walk to the bank together.
