Using a Compass

Saturday, July 1 at 1000am – ‘Friends of Cook Forest Series: Finding Your Way-Latitude & Longitude’     So, maybe you know how to work a compass.  Do you know how to find latitude and longitude, north/south/east/west?  Join us at the Nuthole Pavilion, located at the entrance to Ridge Camp, to build a take-home astrolabe with an extra twist specific for Cook Forest.  (1.5hrs)
