Expressive Drawing for Beginners
Eight & 322 Art Collective will hold a two-hour Expressive Drawing for Beginners workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. on October 22 at the Gallery and Shop at 302 13th Street, Franklin.
During the class, students will learn how drawing can be fun, loose, carefree and still have the ability to create meaningful self expression. Each student will draw themself as they learn techniques to get interesting results through gestural and quick reactions to what they see. The instructor will be Richard Sayer, MFA, Edinboro University majoring in painting.It is suggested that students bring a small mirror, wear old clothes and have a sense of adventure and fun. Drawing supplies will be provided. The class is geared toward 13 and older, but students 12 and younger may register with a paid adult.
