Books with Buddies

Children of all ages are welcomed to bring some books, or use some of ours, and read to compassion seeking animals. Reading to animals is a relaxing and therapeutic exercise allowing children to build confidence in reading without having to worry about the judgement of their peers. Bring a book and exchange it for a new book of your choice. A guest reader will be present at 5:15 for a group reading. Parents are encouraged to sit with their children to assist them in reading to the buddy of their choosing.
