The Historic Franklin Preservation Association will present its annual preservation luncheon and awards ceremony on May 12, location to be announced.
First Baptist Church, 1041 Liberty Street, Franklin, will host a musical event featuring classical, love songs, and sacred music at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., program begins at 6:30. Donations will be accepted in support of Performing Arts Ministry. Performers will include: Dennis Geib, Kevin Downey and Tammi Dahl, Nicholas Nasibyan and more.

Responsible and Responsive Bidding Workshop at Clarion SBDC
Puzzled by government contract bidding? Participants will be supplied with many forms that make estimating and bidding easier. Workshop topics include:
Definitions of terms used in proposals and bidding
Key steps to take before you begin estimating
How to review and break down the material in a proposal
How to package a bid
Learn the secrets of the estimating trade
Tips to help you make good decisions when formulating bids

Child Development Centers will hold its annual Ride For Our Future benefit bicycle excursion starting at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at the Allegheny Trail head near Eighth Street Bridge in Franklin. A 20-mile ride to Brandon and back will begin at 9 a.m., a 10 mile ride to Belmar will begin at 10 a.m. Riders can enjoy a free breakfast before the ride. To enter, riders must obtain sponsors and turn in at least $50 on ride day...Anyone reaching the $50 minimum will receive a "Ride For Our Future" t-shirt and will be eligible to win one of several prizes.
