The City of Franklin will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 8 and under at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in Fountain Park (rain date April 7).

Watch for the Retail Roaming Rabbit who will be walking through downtown handing out gifts for parents from the Franklin Retail Association.

The Arts Co Op will hold "Painting the Town" painting class on Saturday, March 31 at noon and again at 7 p.m. Join the class to learn painting techniques and create your own work of art. Peter Cottontail Express will depart from Perry Station at 1 p.m. for a three hour springtime ride on a vintage train. Photo opportunities and a jelly bean contest for kids up to age 12. Hutchinson is running unopposed for the Pennsylvania State Senate seat that will be vacated by State Sen. Mary Jo White. James, Myers and Smith are the candidates for Hutchinson’s 64th District State Representative seat.
